Here is the video of artist George Trakas who's vision took shape along Newtown Creek. George is the artist commissioned via the Percent For Art program through the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs, which takes 1% of the construction budget and dedicates it to public art. George was commissioned during the construction of the Newtown Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant that was designed by James Polshek of the former Polshek Partnership, now known as Ennead Architects. George designed the Newtown Creek Nature Walk that runs along the Creek.
